Já está disponível para download a nona edição da
coletânea “Upcoming Hell”, idealizada pela equipe da revista virtual HELL DIVINE. Lançada com o
intuito de divulgar o Metal nacional, a “Upcoming Hell” busca levar ao leitor o
que existe de melhor do Progressivo ao Grindcore, sem radicalismos
desnecessários, acreditando que o amor pela boa música, independente de
rótulos, esteja acima de qualquer preconceito. Como já dizia o lendário Chuck
Schuldiner, “Death Metal, Black Metal,
Speed Metal, Thrash Metal. Tire a primeira palavra de todas elas e deixe uma
só: Metal!”.
Dentre as 17 músicas aqui selecionadas, destacam-se com exclusividade a recém-lançada “Prayers Before the Death” do Carniça e a inédita “Conquering Death’s Palace” do Patria, que sairá no disco“Nihil Est Monastica”, com lançamento programado para o inicio de 2013. Na área do Folk Metal, o Land of Fog surge com a excelente “Grendel”, enquanto os fãs de uma boa dose de Death/Splatter/Gore regozijarão com perólas como “Writing in Red” do Sangria e a romântica“Devouring Putrid Whore” do Syphilitic Abortion, um convite à danças frenéticas nas casas de shows da vida. O Leviaethan, clássica banda gaúcha de Thrash Metal, acabou de disponibilizar em CD seu primeiro LP, “Smile”, de 1990, e soa mais atual do que nunca com a rápida e marcante “Echoes From the Past”. Esta foi apenas uma pequena introdução do que encontrarão nesta nova coletânea, então não perca tempo e prestigie o que há de melhor no Metal nacional!

Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho. Divulgar o metal em uma cultura pouco receptiva como a brasileira é uma tarefa muito grande.
